Uplift. A Safe Space Series: Language of Allyship

Join us for our new safe space series where we gather in fellowship and discuss issues facing the LGBTQ+ community.

Tuesday, February 24th – This week we will discuss “Language of Allyship”

Each month will begin with Out & About: an informal safe space gathering. Take this time to meet others in the community and share open discussion.

The second meeting each month will include a focused discussion led by our education team. Topics will include Language of Allyship, Understanding Microaggressions, as well as a Community Resource Fair.

Each of the series meetings will take place throughout February, March, April, and May at the same time and location. Refreshments will be provided.
Location: Baker College OneStop Center, 1020 S Washington St, Owosso – located near the center of campus
Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Bring your kids! We will have supervised youth activities in a conjoining space at each meeting. Our youth team will be supplying fun activities for kids so that you can stay focused on discussion.
